New Program Launch: Fill the Gap Scholarship

The Fill the Gap Scholarship provides flexible funding to cover a student’s basic needs expenses, an area often overlooked by other funding sources.

Designed with partners in the foster care community and young adults with lived experience, the Fill the Gap Scholarship was created to reduce stressors and barriers created by financial insecurity so that students can focus on their educational goals.

Scholarship recipients receive up to $4,000 a year, renewable for up to four years pending continued eligibility. Funding can be used beyond tuition to include housing, transportation, technology, books, or other necessary items to pursue education.

Funding for the 2023 Fill the Gap Scholarship was made possible by a generous anonymous donor.

Applications are now open, the deadline to apply is April 30th.
