What is the L+EARN Internship?

Unemployment is a challenge facing youth who have grown up with instability and family trauma. Project Lemonade’s L+EARN Internship program provides a safe space for youth impacted by foster care to develop skills, confidence and career connections. 

L+EARN Internship success rates:

  • Since 2016, 70 youth have graduated from the Level 1 Internship Program.

  • Since 2021, 9 youth have graduated from the Lead Intern (Level 2) Internship Program.

  • 21 interns have been hired by job connections that Project Lemonade helped to make. 

  • 98% of interns are engaged with Project Lemonade one year after their internship end date.

  • 91% of interns stay with their career and educational activities upon completion of the internship. 

Congrats Summer Interns! This summer we are happy to have six L+EARN Interns on the Project Lemonade team. Level 1 Interns: Camila, India, Olive and Zane; and Lead Interns: Glo and Fae.
