We are honored to have Amanda Needham, an Emmy award winning stylist with the TV show Portlandia as our keynote speaker at the September 25th fundraiser luncheon. Amanda will share her amazing life story, which includes time in foster care. This year's luncheon will be held at the Multnomah Athletic Club on Friday, September 25th from 11:30-1:00 p.m.

The Bug was literally filled with mostly new donations to Project Lemonade. We love your inspiration and creativity! And thank you to all your guests who gave so generously to foster youth with clothing and monetary donations.
In recognition of Maya's Foster Care Awareness month Project Lemonade hosted its first Fill the Truck event in the West Hills neighborhood on May 2. Neighbors were able to conveniently drop off new and nearly new items in a rented moving truck. Over 56 neighbors generously donated clothing and shoes, more than $1,500 was raised, and the truck was filled! Project Lemonade has been selected as a beneficiary of this years Jim Neill Foundation Golf Tournament. We are excited to particiate and partner with foundation for this summers event August 14th, 2015. Check back with us for more details.
On Saturday December 6th, from 2-6PM, Woodstock Wine and Deli is hosting a wine tasting event that will directly benefit Project Lemonade. Come taste some wine, bid on wine auction items and bring a new or nearly new article of clothing to donate to Project Lemonade. All for a great cause!
Thank you to both Fireside and Besaw’s’ Restaurants in NW Portland. Fireside shared its proceeds with Project Lemonade on the first Sunday in May and Besaw’s shared it’s profits with us from the entire month of August. These events not only brought funds to support our work but they also provided an opportunity for diners to learn a little more about Project Lemonade and its mission. We thank both restaurants for their support.
With a lot of hard work and dedication, Project Lemonade volunteers organized its first successful fundraising luncheon held on September 19, 2014. August 2014 marked Project Lemonade’s third back-to-school free shopping event for foster youth living in the greater Portland metro area. Nearly every youth who came to the store walked away with new or nearly new denim, coat, shirts, shoes, socks, underwear and accessories such as backpacks. We served 1700 Foster Youth in nine counties with an estimated 4000 hours of volunteer time.
