Thank you! Holiday Impact and Success

As we settle into 2023, at Project Lemonade we have been glowing with gratitude! We are so thankful to everyone who supported our end-of-year donation drives to make the holidays merry and bright.

In just 3-weeks, 398 youth from 18 counties shopped in our store taking home new warm coats, shoes, winter accessories, toys and stuffed animals.

6  foster youth interns continued their part-time employment with Project Lemonade - Fernando, Garytt, Dylan, Ashley, Acaccia, and Alexis worked 166 hours! Plus we gathered with 23 current and alumni L+EARN Interns for a brunch cruise on the Portland Spirit.

We granted 25 WISHes in November and December. What did foster youth wish for? Ancestry DNA, choir field trip fees, prescription sports glasses, gymnastics lessons, winter break sports camp, Blazers tickets and more.

18 businesses, organizations and individuals hosted holiday drives providing $30,000 in teen gifts, pajamas, socks and other essentials needed to keep our store stocked.

115 volunteers helped wrap gifts and support shoppers in December.

And, we reached our end-of-year fundraising goals to make all of this possible! 250 generous supporters contributed $130,000 to #FosterTheHolidays.

A resource parent of 5 youth shared,
“Because of you, we will now have a happy holiday. I cannot thank you enough!”

We are so thankful for the generous support of this community.
