Heads up! Donations are paused until September 17th
Want to help in the meantime? Shop our wishlist to support our biggest current needs.
Donate Items
Support youth by donating new clothing items.
The best time to shop for a foster youth is when you are shopping for yourself or your family. Need ideas? Visit and shop our current Amazon Wishlist to learn about our seasonal item needs.
For in-store donations, bring items to Project Lemonade, Thursdays 1pm - 4pm. Visit our contact page for directions.
Planning your donation
We welcome drop-off donations on Thursdays from 1–4 p.m. If you need to drop off outside of these hours, please schedule an appointment in advance. To help us best support our team and manage our space, please do not arrive outside of donation hours without a scheduled appointment.
Drop-off location
We are located at:
240 N Broadway,
Portland, OR 97227
Donation Guidelines
We can accept up to 2 shopping bags of clean, seasonal donations per donor during drop-off hours. If you have a larger donation, please schedule an appointment, so our team can help coordinate based on our current needs and storage capacity.

Item Donation FAQs
Can’t find answers to your questions? We’re here to help. Contact Cate Forson at cate@projectlemonadepdx.org for more information.
-
Project Lemonade does not serve youth under the age of 5. However, With Love Oregon does serve youth under age 5. Please visit their website to learn more about items they are currently accepting.
-
Project Lemonade does not regularly stock toys. Please do not donate toys as we are unable to accommodate these in our store.
-
Approximately 90% of our inventory are new items.
Based on youth feedback, we have worked hard to have new clothing.
If you have a gently used item, we ask that you imagine it next to a brand-new item. If it still would look good next to a new item, and is within our accepted item list, we will happily accept your donation.
Please wash all clothing before you donate it. Thanks for supporting foster youth!
-
No, we do not, but you can donate these items like these at Abbys Closet.
